Otto & Dee Weik founded Carpets by Otto in 1969, more than 50 years ago. Since then, we’ve grown into the top floorcovering retailer in the greater Toledo area, winning first place in the Toledo City Paper’s “Best of Toledo” challenge year after year. We’re also one of the region’s most recognizable brands, thanks in part to our unique caricature logo which can be seen on TV commercials & billboards throughout Northwest Ohio. Dee stands inside the construction of our Landmark Showroom in Toledo approximately 1988/89. These bricks are forming the front windows which look out over Reynolds and Angola Roads. This beautiful showroom is still around today and we now have our laminate and wood samples on display in the area she is standing.
